Precautions for using pneumatic conveying valves:
1. Before use, it is necessary to carefully test for pressure and leakage. If any leakage is found on the sealing surface or at the root of the sealing ring, it must be dealt with before use;
2. It is necessary to check in advance whether all components of the valve are intact, and valves with twisted or bent valve stems or valve discs that cannot be connected to the valve stem should not be used;
3. When closing the valve tightly, it should be done steadily and not forcefully. If poor contact or obstruction is found between the sealing surfaces, it should be opened slightly immediately to allow debris to flow out, and then carefully closed;
When selecting valves, not only should the corrosion resistance of the valve body be considered, but also the corrosion resistance of the closing components should be taken into account;
5. To use the valve correctly according to its structural characteristics, components that require flow regulation should use regulating valves;
6. For situations where the medium cools down and the temperature difference is large after closing the valve, the valve should be tightly closed after cooling;
When the valve seat, valve disc, and sealing ring are connected by threads, polytetrafluoroethylene tape can be used as a filler between the threads to ensure that there is no gap;
Valves that may contain impurities should be equipped with a filter in front of the valve.
